Cactus Foods Selected to Participate in U.S. Women’s National Team Block Party at South High Stadium
Los Angeles, CA — April 2, 2025 — Cactus Foods, the Pasadena-based snack food brand known for its Cactus Crunch Chips, has been selected to take part in the upcoming U.S. Soccer and Bank of America Block Party in Los Angeles, California. The event, held in celebration of the U.S. Women’s National Team’s historic first match at SoFi Stadium against Brazil on April 5th, 2025, will spotlight a select group of women-owned businesses that exemplify strength, community impact, and entrepreneurial spirit.
Cactus Foods is one of only a few select businesses invited to participate in this high-profile showcase, spotlighting women-owned companies and local entrepreneurs impacted by the California wildfires. Cactus Foods founder and CEO, Diana Gonzalez, lost her family’s home in the Eaton Canyon fire but never lost her determination to continue to build something lasting.
“The fire took everything—but my company is not going to burn with it,” said Gonzalez. “Being part of this historic event is not only an honor, it’s a reminder that resilience takes root when we stay grounded in our purpose. I hope other aspiring and established women entrepreneurs see this moment and know that no setback defines their future.”
Cactus Foods creates better-for-you, gluten-free, non-GMO snacks made from nopal (cactus), a healthful and sustainable ingredient that reflects the company’s commitment to wellness, community, and perseverance. Gonzalez says, “I’m like the cactus myself: I’m resilient.”
The Block Party will take place outside SoFi Stadium ahead of the match between the USWNT and Brazil. Attendees will be able to meet local business owners, shop and sample their products, and celebrate the spirit of women’s sports and entrepreneurship.
